Daily Delight: Katie Couric’s Porch

I hope that Katie Couric will get to spend some long, languorous days on the porch of her Hampton’s home before her new talk show begins in 2012.
Couric’s home, whose exterior was redesigned by her landscape architect sister, Clara Couric-Batchelor, is showcased in this month’s Hamptons Cottages & Gardens. I love the simple touch of white daisies in a basket on the table. Almost retro in their appeal, they convey a welcoming charm.
I’ve been in love with peonies this season. How about you? What are your favorite summer flowers?
