Flower Power

Though it’s still cold outside, H&H is already deep into its warm weather issues. May goes to press next week and April is due from the printers any day now, so you’ll understand why I’m experiencing a little spring fever. To tide me over while Mother Nature continues to hibernate, I’ve been filling my apartment with flowers. Rose branches, pots of tulips, rows of mini daffodils and pitchers teeming with whatever’s cheap and fresh at the corner store currently cover the mantel, windowsills and tabletops. Since the lifespan of fresh flowers is so fleeting, I started looking for something a bit more permanent. Here are a few modern floral designs sure to put spring in your style year round. You can look at flowers online to get more ideas on how to incorporate beautiful flower designs into your home decor.

I’ve long admired this wallpaper from Trove. So romantic.

The Flower Cup Chair and Lily Family of tables by Lief.designpark remind me how much I loved the tale of Thumbelina when I was little.

I also have a bud-ding desire for this Magnolia light from Autoban.

For a smaller floral hit, try a Liberty print tray. It’s a perennial favourite worthy of any English rose.
